One pound a day

After reading this post from A Thrifty Mrs, I decided to try and do the same thing. My partner Martin's birthday is on the 5th of January which is in 90 days. I have decided to save £1 a day for this occasion. That means that by the 5th of January I will have £90. I am hoping to take him away for the night with this money. I am due to have my baby on the 19th of March so this will be one of the last occasions we can do something before we have two babies. It's OK asking my mum to have Alexander for the night but I doubt she will be too keen on having two. I'll let you know how I am doing with this in future posts. Are you currently saving up for something?
