Operation Christmas child

Hi everyone. This year I found out about a great cause called Operation Christmas child that is run by Samaritans purse. Every year they deliver Christmas presents to needy children all over the world. All you have to do is simply decide which age group you would like your gifts to go to, wrap a shoebox with Christmas paper and fill it full of presents for the little boy and girl, and then take it to your local church to be shipped somewhere to make a child's Christmas better. When I read about this I couldn't wait to start my box, as I think it's such a great cause. I chose to send my box to a boy aged 5-9 and here is what I sent.

I tried to get as much little bits and pieces together as I could and fill the box as much as possible. As well as sending fun things for the child, I also bought some practical things such as toiletries and books.

I have loved doing this and plan to do it every year! I hope whichever little boy this goes to enjoys his present from Saint Niki.

Thanks for reading
